• Operation Christmas Child

  Men and women needed for Work Party to assemble bead necklace kits for an Operation Christmas Child Project on Wednesday, October 24th at 10am. (Our supply room has hundreds of surplus beads. Call 754-3119 for more information. -Sponsored by Evangelism Committee

   
• Trunk or Treat
  

  Church Council is planning to participate in Trunk or Treat again this year from 4-6pm on Wednesday, October 31st. Please let the church office know if you can decorate a truck and hand out candy. We will also be accepting donations of candy if you can’t be there that night. Last year we saw 500+ kids and had hot dogs and hot drinks available, which parents appreciated very much. We plan to do this again. Let us know if you can help volunteer for the community event.

   
• New Church Directory

  ¨ A new church directory is in the making. Some of our people don’t have pictures in the old church directory and newer attendees need to be in the new one. So we are asking to get them in one of three ways…

  * Sunday, October 7th, after Church in the Fireside room taken by Marilyn Bluhm.

  * Email a picture to the Church, office@umcephrata.org.

  * Bring in a picture to be scanned by Tresa, in the office.

   

  ¨ Also, please notify the office of any new phone numbers, addresses, or emails.

   
• YOUR INPUT IS NEEDED

  YOUR INPUT IS NEEDED: Everyone is invited to an all church planning  meeting on Saturday, Oct. 27th in the Social Hall from 9:00am to 11:30am. We will be discussing 2019 events and a proposed change in Council Structure. PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS TODAY!

   
• 3RD Annual Silent Auction

  The Third Annual Silent Auction is on October 28,2018 right after church(10:50) a.m. If you would like to donate an item for the Auction, please contact Jenni at 398-1173. Lunch will also be served! All proceeds go to the general budget of the church!
